Party Leader David Cameron launched the Welsh Conservatives manifesto in Prestatyn, Denbighshire, referring to the document as   “specific, fully-costed, unremittedly ambitious and unashamedly positive”.

Key pledges include supporting the electrification of the First Great Western rail line to south Wales, a commitment to develop a high-speed rail link to Wales and developing a high speed broadband network across the UK.

The manifesto also outlines the party’s plans to increase health spending every year and working to ensure the Welsh NHS has the resources it needs. They also pledge to grant a referendum on more powers for the National Assembly for Wales.
